TRACKEROO AND THE CREW is written with the aim of inspiring and motivating children to make the right behavioral choices in life. It fits in with character education and the life skills curriculum in schools.

It is ideal to use acting, dance, music and artto augment the learning process and serves educational purposes in many ways.

THE TRACKS CONCEPT

 

The TRACKS concept is - we are all on a journey in life towards achieving our life’s purpose.  We face many battles on this journey to arrive at our desired destiny and we are often tempted to sidetrack, back track, go slow, or go off track. Often it seems there is an unseen enemy out there bent on wanting to derail trash or crash us! The challenge is to STAY ON TRACK or GET BACK ON TRACK towards fulfilling one's purpose – one's life’s destiny!

 

The context in which the book is written is that there is a battle going on in the seen and unseen world between good and evil. This is the underlying theme of most stories coming out of Hollywood. And this battle is everyone’s battle and that our daily choices make us win or loose this battle.

TRACKS SYSTEM

 

Trackeroo and the Crew go on a mission from outer space to the earth to save the earthling children - and they run into the same problems that earthlings face.

 

They discover they have strengths and weaknesses as soon as they enter the earth’s atmosphere, which influence their choices to stay on track or not. It is a battle they have to overcome to save the earthling children from annihilation.

 

TRACKEROO is a train that runs on a railway line towards a destination.

 

The railway tracks have two sides.

 

The upside is TREASURE TRACKS and downside TROUBLE TRACKS.

TREASURE TRACKS are activated by the Crew’s positive behavioral choices. It promotes all the good stuff, endless courage, honesty, love, good planning and focus, outreach to others, responsibility, healthy self-esteem, diligence, forgiveness, social justice, equality, loyalty, perseverance, personal problem solving and so on.

 

TROUBLE TRACKS are activated by evil nasty careless behavior - like lying blaming laziness, fear, bullying, cheating and stealing which makes them go off track into dangerous territory.

ROLE MODELS AND MENTORS

 

Trackeroo and the crew are the coolest team to come alongside kids in their maturation of moral character. They are highly trained specialists who guide young minds on the right track in life. Even lucky adults, privy to the story can learn the skill of staying on the right track in life and so live happy harmonious and fulfilled lives. 

The story characters represent strong role models to children whose true-to-life struggles reflect the consequences of both good and bad choices.

 

DEALING WITH THE TUFF STUFF

 

What makes this story different from many other children’s stories is that it is not naïve. The story doesn’t shy away from the ‘tuff’ issues that, in reality children are coming face to face with on a daily basis – issues like, self-esteem, suicide, aids, sexual abuse, poverty, eating disorders, drug abuse, sophistication, crime and violence. It continually inspires children to make the right choices (activating treasures) that will help them stay on the right track in life towards their desired destiny.
