A SACRED KINGDOM HIDDEN INSIDE A BOABAB TREE

KING LEO THE LAMB

 

Well-loved King of the Universe. He is a gentle figure – calm and content in his ways. He has soft eyes and his appearance is nonthreatening. He is white, and has short legs and arms (that is when he is a lamb, and not a lion). The King wears a crown on his head, and a tribal mantel around his shoulders (he has a wide variety of them, and some are very exotic) and he likes elegant shoes that have no laces. People who look at the King are struck by love.

FUNDISI

 

(King Leo’s advisor) is a mysterious-looking short man who wears a traditional Swahili hat that hides part of his face. He has a dashing smile and dresses himself in beautiful and colourful robes and blankets. He wears sandals and walks with a wooden staff  (with miraculous powers) in his a hand even though he is not old. He also wears a big gold ring with a crest on his index finger, and a leathery necklace with some beads. Fundisi is a very cool figure.
 

Fundisi is not only cool looking, but very wise and extremely agile. He surfs the net on his surfboard when answers have to be found in the global village. In the Concrete Jungle he makes his way on a skateboard, and in the countryside Fundisi roams around on the back of his zebra called Zeb, with ethnic blanket billowing in the wind much like a Lawrence of Arabia character. He is a dare devil and can jump from a running zebra onto a moving train. There is basically nothing Fundisi can’t  do.

 

ZIBOBO

 

Fundisi’s sidekick, and a funky zebra that can change into anything, from a skateboard to a space rocket. He likes to wear funky sunglasses, and his mood is hip and happy. Fundisi is mysterious and comes form Africa. He is teacher psychologist and encyclopedia. Nobody ever gets to see his face properly. He is the interface between stories within stories. TRACKEROO and the CREW

 

Trackeroo and the Crew

 

TRACKEROO

 

Trackeroo is a gnu-oo – a cross between a wildebeest, a wild ox and a train. He is a strong steel monstrosity on tracks and looks quite beastly with his horns up front and endless steel panels at the back, but do not be misled. There is no evil hair on his back. His heart is as soft as velvet.  

 HOTDOG

 

Director of the Tracker Crew. He is a Dalmatian and covered with black spots, but walks like earthlings on two legs. His upright figure shows that he is in charge. Hotdog wears a Tracker Crew jacket with a leadership badge on his chest. Hotdog has one flaw though. He tends to lose his temper and then his spots flash from black to an alarming red.


FLASH

 

She is the Tracker Crew’s reporter. She is beautiful, and has long stylish burnt-orange hair that falls in waves on her shoulders. Her fur is a unique electric green colour. Her appearance is impeccable, as she takes good care of her nails and personal hygiene. Flash dresses fashionably even when in action. That’s when you may see her in the Tracker Crew jacket and gear. Flash is sweet, but can be feisty when needed.


LUVHUG

 

The lovable warthog that can be anyone’s best friend.  He is a bit chubby and has a stick-out tummy. His legs are short and his hooves are small. He has powerful tusks that he uses in battle. 


PIXEL

 

Trackeroo and Crew's fluffy purple spider pet. Pixel looks very soft and cute, and you just want to cuddle him. He has big beady eyes and is very friendly. He has many legs and likes his ankle bracelets.


DIGIT

 

The dove. She has a bigger beak than a normal dove and she has slightly larger wings too. Digit enjoys wearing sunglasses as well as a baseball cap from back to front, just for fun. Diget always keeps a cool head and is helpful when it comes to making big decisions. (She has raised her own army of birds called the Digitalion.

 

Chopper

 

He is sound expert and general assistant to the TV Crew. He was a pathetic thug before when he worked in Rapscallion Town, but time spent in rehab made him extra strong.  Check his chopper blades – they are fitted on his head so he can fly.  These cool attachments make him a cut above the rest in combat.

SNATCHERS

 DARK EVIL UNDERWORLD

SNATCHER TRADEMARK

Their eyeballs – their big protruding eyeballs that swivel around in different directions. They can never look you in the eye. Why? The Snatchers are devious – very, very devious.
 

SNATCHER STRUCTURE

 

The Ruler of the Underworld is at the helm of the Snatcher gang. Reporting to him are the Rulers of Mayhem who are in charge of conquered strongholds in larger territories.  The Rulers of Mayhem have Rabble Rouser Ringleaders reporting to them who each has a host of Robbers and Rogues to carry out their wicked schemes.
 

RULER OF THE UNDERWORLD
 

The WHICKED WHEED is a tall, grim figure of evil authority. He sends cold shivers down anyone’s spine; anyone who dares to look at him. He wraps himself in a cloak of weeds that knots together in his back like a tree trunk, and in his one thorny claw he holds a thorny staff. His many thorny tentacles reach far, and wide. He often lets his tentacles arise as a symbol of his wicked power, and in these moments he drips dark, green sticky slime.
His face is mysterious, most of the time, but one thing that shows, is a single long skew tooth that sticks out from the corner of his lipless mouth. His eyes are cold, of course, and sometimes bloodshot, which leave his prey struck with terror. His eyes can do something that no other Snatcher eye can do. They can pop out at will, right out of their sockets and sneak off, like his tentacles. The one place that they cannot reach is the inner chamber of his archenemy, and not knowing what he is up to drives the Whicked Wheed crazy.
 

SATANELLA THE DRUG WITCH

 

She heads up the Whicked Wheed witches clan, and is the understudy of the Wheed.  She does not usually, like the other Snatchers, step out to the forefront to fight his battles, but she knows a secret formula that brews evil concoctions to lure his enemy off track, which makes her very important to the Wheed. Satanella is not a pretty sight at the best of times. She is very thin from the drugs she uses and looks like a walking, talking skeleton. The top half of her head is an open hole, a refuge dump in which weeds grow like wild hair. Her eyes hang cockeyed out of gaping eye sockets, and there is a hole where her nose once was from all the powdered chemicals she has been sniffing. Below her nose is a lipless mouth that scrunches close like an old tobacco pouch. Satanella’s elongated arms are bony, and they end in dramatic long nails on her scrawny hands. Her skin is thin and pasty grey. Yet, despite her hideous looks, the witch has quite a fashion sense, and dresses to kill for all occasions. Her favourite outfit is a screaming pink balloon dress, because in her delusion she believes that it shows off her knock-knees and rickety legs in quite an appealing way. She also likes tight-fitting, black leathers and high-heeled pointy boots. Her all-time favorite piece of jewellery is a dog collar. But sometimes she simply does not care and slop around in an old sack.

 

VILE GUILE 

 

Chief Ruler of Mayhem in the ranking order of the Snatchers. His terrirtory the Land of Honestasia. It is the land through which Trackeroo and the Crew travels to the Concrete Jungle. The vile Guile’s job is to make this place unruly through as many acts of deceit that he and his army of the Rabble Rousing Ring Leaders and their hordes of runners, the Robbers and Rogues, can manage. He is a prehistoric-looking villain – quite tall with a large tail, which whips up in the direction he faces. His entire body is covered with scales. He has large feet and his hands look like claws. His face is long with a huge mouth and big teeth, and he has dodgy reptile-like eyes. He wears a large, black cowboy hat on his head with a red feather at the side. His trademark is his sly grin.
 

LYING LIPS THE LYING GIANT

 

Rabble Rouser Ring Leader. He is a big bad guy with a huge, blubbery stomach and a knob on his head.  His big lips and huge tongue roll open like a sardine tin, and births batches of evil Rogues called Lying Lollies. He hovers on a dark cloud and has a very intimidating facial expression.
 

STEALWOLF THE STEELWOLF

 

Rabble Rouser Ring LeadeR. He looks like a wolf, only bigger. His whole body is made out of steel panel connections. He has cold steel eyes, razor sharp steel fangs and long pointy ears. The nails on his paws are like razor sharp knives, which can pierce through almost anything. He is a menacing sight indeed.  His Robbers are called Grabbers.

 

SLY CRY

 

Rabble Rousing Ring Leader. He is pure liquid. The one half of his roundly shaped body is upright and it appears he has no arms, but don’t be deceived: he can shoot a limb from his body at any given moment. He has an animated face and wears a mafia hat. The bottom half of his body is stretched along the floor and slithers along the floor leaving a wet trail. His Robbers and Rogues are pathetic thugs, cronies and leaches
